snapped bolt need help

The long bolt that holds the oil filter cover on snapped. The problem is the bolt snapped in the case any suggestions on how to remove it. I have an easy out but am not sure that will work.

from my experience, take the case off, makes it much easier to access with things.

backwards drill bit thats what i had to do, use a little bit smaller one and it wont hurt you threads

take off the outer case, the bolt should be able to spin out if you can work it with a pick or something like that.

what do u do if the bolt head is fine but the threads inside there are stripped

I would use a helicoil.

correct helicoil is the best method. even doing that i would disassemble it all so i could chuck it up in the bridgeport and make sure its drilled and tapped straight and true
