2009 & 2010 Differences?

Did yamaha change anything on the new 2010 450r's? I'm in the process of buying a yfz450r and wana know if they did any changes at all for 2010? Also is anyone still experiencing a bog when the quad is idling then blipp the throttle really fast? Thanks for the help.

no.

and the bog is more on the carbs then FI ones.

definatly more of a bog on the carb ones.. but zip tie mod helps out. once i put air filter and pipe ther was less bog

the bog is horrible on the fuel injection...ive had better response out of carburated yfz's.

after pipe/ optimizer..it clears up a bit, but not completely.


also must super glue tip over sensor if you ride hard....id land jumps hard and it would cut out the fuel injection. i had to shut it off...to reset it.

The bog on the FI models really seems to be hit or miss. My R has never had a bog, and is one of the most crisp running bikes I've ever ridden. On the other hand, my buddies R had a horrible bog that only cleared up when dyno tuned.
