+ 3 A-arms

I might get some +3's for a 250r. Are tee any disadvantages with them? Will the ball joints bind? or does it all depend on what brand? I might get Arens. Just wanted to hear your opinions on them. This bike will be for MX only and maybe Jeep trails.

If your doing MX, theirs no disadvantages I can think of. Just make usre to get 4:1 offset wheels with them...otherwise the width will be overkill.

For MX I use +3 arms with 4/1 wheels.

ya, i would like to see a pic of your font end so i can get an idea of how wide it will be. If i run +3 with stock rim will i have alot of bumpsteer? Even with a steering dampener?

Also, for those that have +3's, do you just have a plus 4 axle?

NO..NO BUMP STEER AS LONG AS U GET A STEERING STABLIZER...I RAN A PEP THEN GOT A DENTON!

You will gain bumpsteer, your best bet with a +3 front end is to get 4+1 rims.

If ur gonna get +3 u minus well get the Longtravels..The price on the pep standard and LT is the same as im sure it is for all shock companys..U can get LT arms for $740

4/1.5 is stock for the front of a 400EX..

Nope, because he'll be running 4+1 rims. If he ran 3+2 rims he would.

no...i am at like 49 or 50 inches i think....and my a-arms are just regular +3's...

+3 A arms and Stock Rims will put you at just about 50 inches.

+2 a arms and +3+2 rims will put you at about49.

I will probly run the 4/1 rims if i do get plus 3. And i mih check in to the Arens LT since he said he wont price them over $600. Thenb i just got to pick what shock. I wish i can get PEP but the wait is to long and i dont think i have enough money now hat im buying another truck. I was going o just run +3 with Works pro series shocks. But i dont know, we will see what i do when the time comes.

+3 arms with 3-2 wheels sets at 50 inches on a 250r. that is what i was running but i switched to 4-1 wheels. it now measures 48 inches wide.

That is for all 3 ZPS...they are only 16" though. Call Baldwins. Everyone else told me 8-10 months...they told me 8-10 weeks!!!

All PEP Shocks have the same waiting period, which right now through Baldwin is pretty decent.

the guys at pep are real nice. i ordered my shocks 2 months ago and they told me a 3- 4 month wait so i called them up and said i needed my shocks soon bc the races are coming up in early march and they said no problem ill have them in a week:eek: now thats service:blah

Jess,Trickness doesn't make you go faster,look at my 400 compared to some other Tricker ones,and I beat most of em (except maybe Miller),and look at Rabar,he wins all the time,and his ain't no charm either....

i am running +3 arms now with 4-1 wheels and it sets at 48 inches also. with the +3 arms and 3-2 wheels i rubbed on both sides at redbud going through tech but i made it.
