race fuel in new motor

I just got a ESR 350pv with a race gas dome. In my old motor i was mixing VP113 and VP C12 50/50. Should I just run VP113 in my new motor? I live in Canada so VP is the easyest type of fuel to get. Thanks

how much compression are you running? i dont know the answer i just figure it would be easyer to get one if we knew your compression

If you have a race gas dome, either one of those should be fine or you can still mix them. You should be able to run the VP113 or VP C12 without any issues.

yah, i do have a ESR race gas dome, i'm not sure of the compressen. I'll probley just keep mixing 50/50. Thanks

i have a esr310 with pump gas dome and am running c12 with no problems

ESR states that their race dome requires 110 octane or higher.

Thats why i was wondering, becuase c12 is around 108 octane. And vp 113 is around 113 octane. I was mixed 50/50 because that would be very close to 110 (Thats what dealer told me to do). I was going to switch to just VP 113 100% but wasn't really sure if that was to high of a octane for the motor, or would it be better to run 50/50 mix of 110 octane?

A 50/50 mix of 93 octane/110 octane will only get you to around 101/102.

The guy I got my motor from said that he was runing teh VP fuel that is specifically designed for 2 cycle engines. I've looked on VP website and can't find this fuel anywhere. Does anyone know if it goes buy a different name now? or did they stop making it? Also where I was getting my race fuel from have changed to VP c111 and VP c116 for snowmobiles has anyone run this with race dome motors? I got a ESR 350 PV that i'll be running this in. Thanks

i was told c12 was the fuel for 2 strokes

I found out that MR8 is made for 2-strokes but is only 107 octane, and c12 is fine in 2-strokes and is 108 octane. I'm looking for 110 octane what do people use? or are these 2 fuels good to use in a 110 or higher motor? Thanks

I just chk'ed into the other race gas companies and looks like VP is the only brand thats in Canada, do many people run VP on here and if so what Kind ? becuase VP makes tons of different fuels. Thanks
