brake light stays on

05' 400ex

my brake light comes on when i turn on the key, nothing seams to make a diff, headlights on/off, brake lever pulled in/out, footpedal down/up. its not the tail light the brake light, any ideas? i am thinking i have a short somewhere(thats touching a hot source?!) or maybe the brake light switch under the throttle.

i have not dug into this at all, just noticed it the other night,
it might be something simple or more complex, haven't looked into it but i thought i would get a thread going,

Theres a switch under the master, might be sticking.

I could be wrong,but I thought the 400ex only had a tail light.I don't think it is a dual light.Its been a while since I took mine off.

hey, i have the same exact problem!! if i hit bumps it'l twicth. so loose connections?
