To make this quad ready to race in the desert?
They are going otd for 3800 here in vegas and im thinking of getting one if things go right.

Downside is i want to do GP's and idk if the 700 would do so good or not.

So what are some mods to get right away for the desert on this thing.

i already would get a set of tall tires

Which dealer in Vegas is selling them for $3800 out the door? I was at Ridenow on Rancho a few weeks ago and they wanted $4,999 before all the taxes and stuff. If I could get one for the price you posted, I might just have to buy me another one!

Anyway, to answer your original question, yes, all the stuff 700Xxrida listed would be nice, but not absulutely needed. If I was gong to do a budget build, this is what I think the 700XX needs:

New tires all around
New front shocks
Revalve and respring the rear shocks
Full exhaust
Fuel controller
Remove the airbox lid
Full chassis skid
Steering stabilizer

Of course, you really don't need anything, I have seen a 700XX race bone stock and do alright. I know with the above mods though, my 700XX would be a much more comfortable racer then the way it comes from the factory.

lol i actually meant to put 4,800 but the dude said otd and it was at ridenow. Idk if he was BS but i just took it in.

Ive always done desert but latley ive been keeping up on the worcs series and its been growing on me more. So im jw if i should go out and just get a 450 or get the 700. I would still be riding mostly desert and trails thats the thing

I raced my first WORCS race earlier this year, plan on racing the Mesquite round later this year. If you are racing just WORCS, get the 450R, it wil be the better quad on that type of course. If you just plan on riding mostly desert and trails for fun, while just racing an occasional WORCS race, get the 700XX.
