ok so i was searching for e85 testing and stuff but i couldnt find anything i know there was one on here with mainly 400ex's

here is my set up

88/89 250r running a 88-94 Cr cylinder p&p from FTZ and is a running a +4 stroker crank shaft. Lrd Exhaust and a 40 mm Lectron. kevin at lectron told me to run a 18-3 metering rod and a adjustable powerjet screw thing.
I would like to run a E85 with it if i could. im at 178 Psi so easy to just say 180. this cyl was used with a alky or meth set up i assume cause of some spickgots

any one try it on a 2-stroke?

what do you think i could bring with HP and Tq, my Girlfiends dad works at a ATV shop and i'm gonna get it dyno'ed there and get it set up there.

I use a 19cc pro design high compression head in my lt250r and get great hp but I run 110 race gas from a local store. I would say though that using a ron+mon average, e85 is known to be 98-105 octane. Maybe a gain of max 5 hp or reg unleaded and about 5 hp short of compression burned race gas. It burns cooler and takes a little bit out of the gaskets. I would recommend it as a back up fuel but not as a primary fuel for a couple extra hp. It does help the machine start great though, not sure why. If you can run premium gas until your compression justifies race gas. If you want to do a conversion there is a company in northern st paul that does custom e85 carbs for professional drag racing and does a beautiful job but expect to pay. Not to mention the gaskets in the engine and fuel lines. Plus the tank :ermm: However, the price per gallon is a great saver in the long run!!! Depends on what you're really looking for. Hope that helps.

from my research it doesnt do anything more then regular fuel to the lines. its a Alcohol sent up. its grown corn grits.

i havnt been able to do it yet just cause i dont have to time to work on my 250r and i couldnt find a boot to fit my 40mm lectron that i have all set up ready for it to rock.

Also, don't forget you will need to jet incredibly rich in all parts of the carb!!! You may need to drill out jets or change needles if you decide to run the alcohol all the time.

thus the reason i have a 40 mill lectron with dual fuel screws... or else i'd had to use a dial jet set up.
