450er recall

I got a letter today about a recall on my 450r about the decompression system in the motor. Has anybody heard about this?

yes my brother-in-law works at a dealership (lead tech) and said that they recalled all 08 to present becase of it. they had one down there that had never been started and the first time with 50 50 mix of 110 and 91 the decompression mechanism came out and bleww out of the case cam holder and all.

just got my letter in the mail it is at my dads willgo and pick it up tomorrow and see what it says. sure hope they pay for the labor since it is a recall. i think they should put a hrc kit on it for free just for having to deal with the trouble of having it fixed haha. it is about time to get the valves adjusted anyways. i am glad it has not messed up because when i ride we do alot of drag racing and run it pretty hard. and i do run 100 octane in it alot.
