Looking to put some oversize valve buckets in my TRX450R 2005. I have heard of a street bikes buckets are the larger ones to put in . But not 100% and do not want to go ahead and order them and they are wrong. Can someone let me know what ones i order. Aftermarket companies charge an arm and a leg for them even tho they get direct from OEM part suppliers.

I heard these will work. http://www.cleanpower.thesietch.org/projects/solarthermalpanel/images/bucket.jpg

I don't have a lot of confidence in the engine builder that told me though...

I have a 05 CBR1000RR Head sitting in the garage I could measure the buckets if that would help you

Webcam, Inc. sells them and recommends DASA to machine the cam tower... I can honestly say that I have used oversized buckets and prefer them on big camshafts... Caution who you choose to bore the cam tower... About a year ago, I've witnessed another shop incorrectly machine the towers and screwed up a large group of towers... it was a mess....

just be careful who you get to machine the tower for you... the bucket bore in the tower has to be aligned to the centerline of the bore; otherwise, the bucket wont sit flat on the shim....

good luck.

I am sending to Dan to bore them. I beleive they are hyabusa buckets but not 100% sure its 300% cheaper ordering through suzuki than through web.
