Are 250r arms the same as 400ex arms when on a 300?

no. the mounts are a little wider. You can make them work but you have to grind down the mounts a little on each side.

400ex a-arms will bolt right up.

yes...no matter witch one up put on you will need to relocate the top shock mount.
