Ltr450 stock front end. shocks/arms

came off a 06 ltr450 stock shocks and arms. very small amount of time on this front end. still in nice shape, looking to sale as a package deal unless someone wants to give extra to split up the parts

sorry i meant ltz400 16 3/4 wont work i dont think let me look around and find out if they will work and if they do i want them already had a set of shocks from a ds450 that are long enough but the shock body is too big

i just picked up some LT 18 3/4 fronts from a guy on the honda parts threads for $400 shipped very nice shocks they were elkas and they were for a 250R hybrid but we just modded the mounts and they fit a LTR450 easy. hondas require a long shock so id keep my eyes on that section if u want some cheap LT shocks

thanks gonna have too the ds shocks length is right but the top eye of the shock is too wide for the mount that is on the z400 if anyone knows of an easy way to mod this mount would help cause the ds450 shocks are free to me

how much too wide? u can cut down the sleeve inside the shock bearing. or you can remove the sleeve and bearings and machine it narrower or use a grinder but be very precise measure twice cut once. i would make it work theres always a way if ur willing

the shock mount is 5/8ths and the shock is 1 inch wide so would have to take off about 3/8ths of an inch which seem like alot

shouldnt be much if u take off 1/4 each side i would do it. theres ppl that are grinding down the 450R shocks to fit a 400ex but they are grinding the tops not the eyes. freebies cant hurt to try it
