can you actually compete in A or B class on stock yfz 450r suspension?

just wondering if you can actually compete in A or B class with the stock suspension on the yfz 450r?

I don't think power would be a big deal just throw a 13:1 piston and some cams in it.

IMO, i wouldnt even put cams or a piston in. i would put a nice set of wheels and tires on. nerfs/bumper/grab bar/kill switch/ handlebars and just set it up to my liking and roar on that beast. just the little things to get it track ready isnt much. its already wide and piston/cams is not needed to perform good. put a 06 stock intake cam in it and let it rip

you can swap the 09 yfzr cam with a 06 yfz cam?

yeh im not sure what it does but thats 1 of the first things guys with the 09+ do

Regional stuff you should be alright... No way you could get me to line up on a nationals A class race on stock R suspension :eek2:

id do it :D stock R suspension is pretty stiff and for bigger guys it shouldnt be a prb. if i get a R in the future ill leave the arms stock and get shocks down the road.
