Twisted steering stem "splines"

I know the splines don't look awful but it doesn't take much to funk up your steering.
Is it me or does it seem like yamaha stems are made of jello? I figured something else would have bent before this:rolleyes:

splines always bend on the yami stems, its just a stupid design
