i have a 416ex and it is really loud! i measured how loud it was and it flew off the chart and people keep calling the cops on me....it has a TON off stuff performance wise done to it, it has bills pipes full exhaust, bored out to a 416cc, k&n air filter, w/o lid, high compression piston, stage 2 hot cam, 172 jet, and alot of other stuff

can any one tell me how to quiet this down?!?!??!

Loud pipes save lives.

But if you want to quiet it down then going with a different exhaust will help.

q4 FTW it is nice sounding and very quiet! otherwise a quiet core for your exhaust would be the next best thing if you can find one or make one yourself with some pipe and a drill. take the 3/4" pipe and drill a few holes in the sides to help out the flow a little bit. put a washer on the end or make something to fit it in and you would be much better but you have to get it just right for your exhaust or it will pop and make it sound stupid lol. from my experience 5" pipe with 12 holes evenly spaced seemed to be ok for a bit quieter sound but it is still nothing compared to a different exhaust. steve

how long has it been since you checked the muffler packing?

if its burned away, your bike will be excessively loud.

easy to check, cheap to re-pack, quieter, and cheaper than buying a new exhaust.

just a thought.
