whats everyone think of my idea of putting a motoworks end cap on my sparks pipe?

I got this end cap off of someones can am or some kinda motoworks pipe. at a national, maybe it was natalies or wienens canam. lol so i got it and kept it.

heres a pic of what im thinkin about doing. i will trim the sparks turn down to fit perfect. it has a very tight fit already

i wish it would sound like the can ams. for some odd reason i love the way they sound. IMO best sounding 450s so far. it just has a grunty sound. maybe it will change the tone some. :D

I doubt it makes it louder...it wont change a thing...it will just shoot the exhausted air up higher.... i always would rather stage behind a sparks exhaust..... it doesnt puff rite it your face if your in staging....

well i just performed this lil end cap mod and i need a better solution to bolt it to my sparks. i used self tappn screws but they dont get tight like i want.

also, now i can throw a insert in the pipe before i go thru tech inspection and they wont throw a hissy fit. due to the turn down i could fit anything inside the core.

Buy a tap one metric size larger than the holes in the sparks threadserts and tap it out.... Ex...if it has 6mm x 1.0 threads go to a 8mm thread...and buy three bolts for it to work... you could even use sae bolts...if you already have bolts and taps... just make sure you get a allen head bolt so it will fit inside the recess for the end cap adam.

the sparks dosent have threads for a cap. its just plain cap against the sparks base. i used sheet metal self tappin screws the ones that drill the hole before they screw in. i know it prb was a dumb idea but there wasnt any other way for me to mount the cap.

drill the rivits to take the sparks end cap off then just use nuts and bolts.

if i drill the rivets out then ill have to pull the core out and i just repacked the exhaust not even 3hrs of ride time ago. maybe the screws will hold until i repack again and ill just do that. i was thinkin the same thing but didnt want to remove my core. because the core is attacthed to the cap
