250ex having some problems

My bikes getting up in hours now and its starting to show. It;s starting to make some noises. Dad thinks its the timing chain anyone have similar problems?

From where?
has it been serviced recently?

sounds like the timing chain. know any one whos timing chain has wore out? and no it hasnt been serviced recentley.

no one? it has to be in the top end. something aint working right the rings might be going out to but its smoking and burning oil pretty good.
