i cant figure it out...can someone help me out? quad isnt starting without it hooked up

if thats a er it looks like the power wire from the fuse box to the positive side of the battery

It goes to the positive side of the starter relay.

good, point, but doesn't one of the wires from the fuse box go to the selenoid, and the other to the pos batt?

and before anyone asks, yes there was a fuse in there when i tried starting it. none of the fuses are blowing out so i dont know what seems to be the issue...
anyone?

when i take the quad off the battery charger, the quad wont wanna fire at all. when its on the charger, it clicks...any ideas?

check the voltage on your battery without charger on make sure your battery isnt junk, and also make sure you battery is grounded properly, was the wiring all tampered with?

run through your wiring, if everythings good you either have 1. a dead battery, or 2. a bad selenoid, when i had this problem on my 400ex it was problem #2

sometimes you can take the solenoid apart and clean it up and put some white grease to keep water away, makes it last longer

Make sure that bullet plug didnt come unplugged. Its in the picture you posted. Its the tiny red portion sticking out in the pic.

It looks like he has it right, its on the solinoid and the wire to the solinoid comes off the positive side of battery,I think if he swaps it he will blow fuse?
