Im sure most of you have seen the paint kits that change color.I was looking at it again today. And the silver green is so sweet!.Can you Powder coat over paint? That would be a great color for a frame. It has a clear coat that you put on it.Its really a base coat, then 3-6 layers of the color, then 2-3 coats of clear. But i know it wouldnt hold up to the abuse of a quad unless there was some way to pc or a hard clear coat.Any ideas of how this could be done?Or is something like that available in powder coat?

You can't powder coat over paint because of the high heat to set the powder but por 15 makes this stuff called Glisten PC which is a paint that is a clear coat for rims and such that is suppose to be just as super tough Try here www.porstore.com If that won't work get your frame stripped and use illusion powder coat:D

you can get the cheap stuff at K-mart for around 20.00?? If you want the good stuff goto house of kolor web site they have any combo you want but it is a little costly at around 270.00 a Pint but will last a lot longer. If you clear the crap out of the other it maybe ok.

Yea what i was talking about is the $20 kit that about any auto store carries. But if you were to do it right and get a real hard clear coat it would work.I dought the a-arms would hold up though.
