I know this is sort of an odd combination. But I'm just looking for a good suspension setup while keeping the bike narrow. I'm leaning towards Fox Suspension b/c i want to keep things light. Anyone out there running this setup or have any insight on it?

if you are wanting to stay narrow you can go with fox floats and houser plus one a arms. then all you have to do is get some 4+1 rims and that will put you back to stock. this is what i am going to go with.

stock rims are already 4-1 so your still going to add some width with houser +1's what I would do is buy the shocks and see how they work and how you like them then if need get some stock width a arms ( lots of place's make em'

We have fox floats with lonestar xc arms +.5 they give more clearance with a great ride but stock length shocks wont work think they have to be 18.5 inch long.nice set up for xc.

Stock wheels aren't 4-1s. They aren't too far off, like 3.5-1.5. But they are not 4-1s.
