Well 2 weeks ago I was laid off for a week, (we've still been having "fur-lows" here at Cat), anyway, I started building and organizing my garage. See what you think. I didn't know I was such a carpenter too... LOL! BTW, I can't stand to not be unorganized. Someday I hope to have my own shop with more room, but for now my garage will have to do...

I've got ~500 in materials and about 4-5 days of cutting and fitting... I enjoyed the project though, and now I have way more storage than I ever thought I could...

I'm the same way. I can't stand not having everything "in its place"... what bugs me most, I just got married almost 2 years ago, and now my parents and her parents think its time to pawn all of the crap each of us had as kids since both our parents saved everything... (ridiculous), toys, all kinds of crap. Anyway, I have a new house and I pretty much have one room in the basement full of crap, plus my attic. Drives me nuts.

I'm to the point that I like to have all of my "quad" stuff together so one side of the garage is dedicated quad stuff and tools. The other side is the misc fishing, golf, lawn, etc... It even bugs me to have my woodworking stuff mixed in with my regular tools... I KNOW ITS A SICKNESS...

All thanks for the compliments. To the construction workers, I envy you guys... I enjoyed working out in the nice weather seeing stuff come together just how I pictured it in my head.

my in-laws do the same thing only they play on my wifes sentimental side so she can't say no, and they send bags of things home with the kids every trip knowing I can't tell them no.The only way I have found to magically make things disapear in the garbage every week when no one is looking. I am the same way with my tools and other sport or riding things. My wife snapped last summer when I started building a 24x32 building to display my 88"R" in and for other guy things so now it looks like she will get her in-ground pool she wanted in exchange. "Compromise" you gotta love it.
