Oxygenated fuels require richer jetting. This became an issue for many this year in my area because we now have 10% ethanol in all our pump gas.

i thought that oxygenated fuels were bad for 2 strokes, but good for the 4 pokers...
IMO this is nothing more than another unleaded fuel to comply with the AMA rules for the pro's - for me I'll stick with the leaded race fuel

i always liked cam2, but its getting harder and harder to find. this stuff is said to be priced competitivly. race gas is now up around $8-9 a gallon.

what are you guys paying?

We have the VP midwest distributor in my town and I can get VP110 for 6.75/gallon, at least that is what it was back in April. They have all the fuel types in stock. Its awesome.

VP makes a special fuel for 2 strokes that is oxygenated. I posted about this awhile ago when I was looking for fuel and no one responded. I'll find that thread.

Here's the site:

MRX01 was what I was thinking of, but they claim U4.4 is great for any powersports application where there are NO FUEL rules...

The only stuff I have tried so far in my 450 is VP C12 which I was paying $60 /5gal can and right now I am using Sunoco 110 which is now available at a pump 5 min from my house at about $7 per gal.
I once tried the torco cencentrate they sell in the can. It is supposed to make 105 octane when mixed with premium pump gas. I ended up draining it because the motor was knocking BAD.
