He had a kill switch installed a few years ago,don't know how they did the wiring. Now when you hit the starter button, it doesn't click or anything. He has lights and power from the battery, I tend to think it is from the kill switch job. He said he would jiggle the wires by the rectifier and it would start sometimes, I just didn't really get a chance to look at it hard yet, just trying to get a few ideas where to start. Thanks!! (checked the fuse also,that's good)

I don't know about the 250ex, but on my 400 and most other bike thier is a fuse by the battery or starter sil. you might want to try that. on the kill switch, it should be installed on the neg side of the ign coil so you might want to check your grounds. hope that helps. by the way anybody need a banshee front shock for the rear. $40.00 o.b.o.

cheack ur starter selinoid it behind the battery take a metal scew driver and jump it...

He listened on his uncle and followed the wire harness, hence he found a broken wire, he fixed it!! Thanks for the replies, glad it was just something "simple" for once!!
