main jet spacer?

i was about to rejet my carb a couple of weeks ago when a friend of mine told me that when you rejet the $00ex carb you need a spacer for the mainjet is this true? i just baught a 165 main and he had baught the whole dynojet kit.

That spacer is for some jet kits. I think it makes it so you can use thier, jet kits jets.

the dyno-jet kit uses a spacer, if you use stock jets you don't need one
