i've had a smile on my face now for about an hour. and my smiling muscles are starting to hurt.... no lie!

just got done riding a Beta 525 SM bike... Have always wanted a SM bike but never even riden one.. well i got to ride the Beta today.. Not only is that Beta an AMAZING bike with so much detail... well lets just say i put the front wheel down in 4th gear mid throttle at 95mph. I'm about to do everything in my power t buy this bike. no joke.

For those that have never seen a Beta

where are these made? looks like it takes alot of design ideas from the KTM

It is an Italian made bike. but yes, it does have a KTM motor in it. the new 2010 have their own built motor. but they have alot of detail into them.

I have a KTM525 and I can set the front wheel down at 95, in 6th. :confused: My 4th is only good for about 65mph. Are you sure it wasn't kph?

is yours SM made for the street, maybe the gearing is different.

ok, correction, i was in 5th gear then. i didnt realize it had 6 gears. all i know is when i let it down i shifted up one more time. so i was mid throttle 5th gear in the 90's

No, it was dirt until I converted over. Wide ratio 6 spd.

I love the Betas, a few of my GNCC friends run them. VERY nice bikes!

there is a little dealer right down the road from me. thats why i got to ride it. went there looking for muffler packing and the guy made me ride the bike lol

Very Cool bike! Looks like a lot of KTM parts went into the making of that bike.

SM bikes are really fun to ride... especially on the track! :D
