edelbrock 440 carb problem

every time im idleing along and i stop the bike revs really high and i have to hit the throttle for it to idle back down and im really tired of doing it exspecially when im riding with people its the doug eicher signature series

When i installed mine do the same. The problem was the spring of the throttle, need one around more.

the spring on the throttle wheel bring it around one more time?
