need sub help fast

i got 2 12" kenwoods, i hooked them up to a 1200 watt jbl amp. When playing them they will cut out and stp playing for a few seconds, then resume playing. last night the fuse on the power wire blew, so i went from a 30 watt to a 40 watt thinking this might be the problem, but the subs still cut out. also i have an 8 ga power wire. how can i fix the problem

what ohm are the subs? how many voice coils?

how are they wired?

how stable is your amp?

Sounds like you either have a bad wire somewhere or blown subs.

Sounds like they are wired wrong and the amp is going into protect.

yeha i would agree as well.

the amp jus had to be adjusted, it was pullin too much power and the battery couldnt keep up, but i do need to get a bigger power wire so i can run a bigger fuse
