quad ran perfect.
wrecked it, quad flipped bent steering stem.
raced it with a bent stem no problem.
stood it on its end to remove stem.
stayed on its end for 3 days while new stem came in.
now on hard landings i have just a slight hesitation/bog.
what do i need to check?

That's simple to fix. Stand it on the other end for three days.:D
Check to see if any grounds are bolted in over paint. I don't recall any grounds in the steering stem area, but maybe there is a ground not making real good contact after taking it off and putting it back on. Maybe the battery is shorting internally for a split second.
See ya at the next TQRA?

mine kinda has that too, never stood it up more than 30 min putting the skids on. but when i land it seems to hesitate like that, once it actually stalled and i about went over the bars! never rolled it or anything but mine has had a burguard stem put in it.... was there when i bought it.... so idk. shouldnt we be able to run without a battery? or do u have to have it for the fuel injection? is that why it could be doing that?

Might be easy. Check your connectors at the back of your key. They are known to come loose, and will short out on landings or big whoops. Happened to a buch of us.
If not that, might be fuel filter.
