dual row or double wide?

just wondering which is better or does it even matter. and do you think it is worth having a grease zerk on the side where you can get to it.

I prefer 2 separate bearings. Because if you have 2 bearing in one housing race when one gets contaminated and fails it immediatly destroys the other and most of the time you axle and carrier. At least with 4 separate bearings you have a fighting chance of making it back.

well i have always ran the dual row but i still have the stock carrier in my bike and was getting ready to buy a new one. so i just didnt know which one would be better.
