Need 400ex motor help....

My 400ex Is blowing oil out the exhaust really really really bad, not just smoke but oil too, The top end is loading up with oil and it won't run. I know im going to have to tear it down but what do you guys think the problem is?

sounds like the rings are shot. time for a rebuild:)

I just encountered the same problem a month ago. Its one of two things, as Pappy said...the rings. In my case it was the valve seals. I just got my head back yesterday from the shop. Notice how the piston looks wet and the build up of oil on the right side?

You deff need some Rings.

O well you might as well bore it out and get a high compression piston since it is apart. HEHE
