Alright, so i bought a Pro Armor kill switch because its mandatory for racing now.
Can anyone tell me which wires i will need to connect it to?

should get hooked up just like the pro design one. there is a sticky at the top that i made, ill post the link to it in a sec. steve

Thanks a lot steve. the shop called earlier and its in. so hopefully it will be installed tonight and be able to race on friday :D

I used the above write up, but instead of tapping into the wire near the coil I did it at the main relay under the hood of my 06. This way the wire was long enough and finding the black wire with yellow stripe was just as easy there.

got it installed and works great, i did what the link you sent me said to do, except i didn't need any extra wire. (Y) and i just grounded it to a bolt in the frame. the only problem is it is kind of crammed in with the gas tank vent and the bars. but oh well, getting an aftermarket cap and vent soon too. probably a tusk billet aluminum one.

thats why I wired mine into the relay under the hood and to a bolt on the frame so I would have more slack in the line to move it up on the bars some.

glad you got it to work good for you. I also had mine under my cap but it was a plug style one so it fit under there nicely. I have never actually wired a pro design one or a pro armor one up lol. the write up is pretty much for any normally open switch. steve
