Well this new house that I bought cools and heats very good...in every room except my bedroom.

It is a one story ranch on a slab.

Furnace and AC are on the west end of the house, master bedroom is on the east side of the house.

I can feel the heat and air blow out of the vents, but it is maybe 1/4 the air as in say the kitchen that is on the west side.

I have closed all the other vents (well, mostly closed...completely closed they start whistling) and the air doesn't seem to improve in the bedroom much, if at all.

The other two bedrooms (again, on the far side of the house from the ac unit) are a little better than the master, but still not as good as the rest of the house.

Is there something I can do to boost the air flow, hot days are ahead...

try booster fans they might help your situation

In your air ducts, there are things called dampers. They are to regulate flow to each room. Basically it is door that opens and closes inside the duct. My guess is the one in yor bedroom is closed. go under your house and find a part of the duct that has a sort of nob sticking out of it. You can twist it to open or close it more. A lot of installers will use orange marking ribbon to mark where they are located.

try to see if there is a damper that is closed off also check to see if the duct is pinched off sometimes if it is turned to tight it will pinch it off. ifeveryting check out ok then try a booster fan.

And your post was so much more helpful than his

Ok I will get up in the attic tomorrow and check out what I have, would be awesome if it was just a damper not fully open! Thanks for the lead.

see if the run that goes to your master is off the end of the main duct trunk. if its too close to the end, the air will want to bypass that one run.
