help on retaining ring !

im changing my carrier, and i cant get the retaining ring out from under the axle nut, i need helo on this quick! please and thank you

Is it stuck? Those are easy to get out. I can take mine off with my finger. I just pry the end onto the fat part of the axle and then pull it off. If you need something to spread it apart, you can get a spreader pliers, but I don't need anything for mine. You just have to get one end started then pull and it will slide off.
