I can't imagine it being all that expensive. Not to mention you can charge people $200 an hour for it. It would definitely be a cool investment.

Just a guess, but I'm going to say nothing less that $15,000 for a nice, new model.

if i ever got one i would not charge to use it. it would be for tuning and testing anything. maybe one day ill have one lol. that is a bit pricey though. I have a quote thing in with dj with some info possibly. I doubt they will give me anything though, since i did not sound too interested, only wanting to find out how much it was. steve

I emailed them a couple years ago and they said anywhere from 15 to 20k.

The 250ix can be installed above ground or in-ground which comes with our "Eddy Current Load Absorption Unit" and is the best model to use for fuel mapping, and tuning. The 250ix will accommodate motorcycles and most other powersports platforms (ATV's, Side-by-sides, go-karts, and trikes)

There are several options available such as an Air/Fuel Ratio Monitor, Folding Ramp, Power Carriage, Power Clamp, and much more.

The 250ix starts at $24,900. plus $2500. for Air Fuel. There are many more options that you may or may not want or need.

this is from the dj rep that emailed me back. steve

Definently an investment at that price.

There is a local shop here in Des Moines that has a mobile dyno in a really nice big trailer. I asked the other day about using it and they said it was around $75-$80 per hour to get everything dialed in. I didn't think that was bad at all.

there are a few around here that arent mobile that are within 100 miles. i just had mine done in plover a few weeks ago but i was curious to find out what one costs for future garage materials for the floor. that and a lift for oil changes one day when i am making some major $$$ steve

I lift would be nice. I bought an electric hoist at Harbor Freight and use that all the time. It's handy as hell and saves you from breaking your back lifting, especially a snowmobile.
