300ex pipe

when i bought my 300ex it had a white brothers e-series muffler but it still had the stock header pipe. is that how its supposed to be if not where can i get the header pipe and does anyone have jetting recommendations.

The White Brothers system was sold as a slip-on, where you could add the headpipe later if you wanted, they sold the pipe by itself too, or as a complete system. White Brothers was Sold to Vines Hines and they no long sell the systems the best place to find one it on ebay. In teh paper work from white brothers as long as eveythign else is stock leave the jetting stock but it depends on where you live.

You dont have to go out and buy a header pipe. Your stock one should be just fine. A different header won't increase your performance unless it's bigger and has better flow. The real magic is in the muffler. I've got a white bro's e2 on my bike and it's just a slip on.
