First Oil Change

I was just changing my oil, and found a couple fine shavings on the magnet on the engine drain bolt. Would this be ok for a first oil change? I found non on the filter or the strainer in the oil tank though. Thanks

I would say yes, this is normal during breakdown. I had the same thing.
