I am currently on a 300ex but I am about to move up into the 450 class and I am leaning toward getting a yfzr. Two questions who are some of the best motor builders for the yfzr and once the motor is built approximatly how much HP does it make?
Thanks

I would say DASA or SPARKS also RAGE. The horse power of course depends on how much money you have. Most 450s are around 45 to upper 50s modded. Dont forget a good set up is more important such as suspension and you being comfortable on the quad.

Dasa and sparks are mostly honda oriented. They do yamahas but they do more of the others and know them better. Check out mmad or outlaw innovations. MMAD specialzes in yamaha's and Geoff knows the yfz like the back of his hand.

Advanced Machining Services in PA. Al might have a small buisness, but his motors are fantastic.

Exactly, my kid works there now, & they just did wade's yfz 08 man does that fly, I know they did a couple of yfzr with good results, & they only did minimum work to them, & they move nice, You will get more bang for your buck with them, & it's only the 2 of them that build em,
