Should i or shouldnt i TRADE

So a guy wants to trade his all stock z400 for my cr250
The z is an 03 and my CR is a 2000

But mine has a couple aftermarkets like pipe suspension piston crank reeds seat etc. (the list goes on haha)

And his is all stock and one tire leaks air

I will post pics of both but do u guys think its worth it for me to trade?

Ya it has some scuffs and stuff but thats because i rode it and rode it in the trails where it gets sorta muddy and have laid it down a few times but nothing major

The plastic was originally white but he painted it black Thats one of the main things i didnt like about it other than its stock

It doesnt seem like a bad quad and the paint job actually doesnt look bad in a picture. The thing is u already traded the 400ex with mods away so, if u want something like that back then go for it maybe try to get a couple hundred to.. but idk what them 250s go for.

Well i still have my 2002 400ex thats a 426 ive had 3 400exs and as of now i have my cr

z400 are great quads i have a 2003 kfx400 same thing and i loved it. just there is one problem. if you plan on jumping/racing get a gusset kit. my friends z400 the frame cracked in the font near the shocks and his sub frame cracked where the sub frame bolts the the main frame. it cracked on all the point besides one. but as of a trail quad it was awesome but soon as you bring it to a track you are gonna want a gusset kit

thats a great trade! your cr is near in value IMO as that quad, plus it looks like the guy never rode it ,it still got stock tires on it and there just woreout! the stock heel guards also are still there after 7yrs that thing hasn,t been ridden that much!

What do u think would be a good price for the z he said 1900obo but idk if i wanta pay that much i would feel more comfortable at like 1600 or 1700

For that quad that price is still good that thing looks awesome for the yrs it has on it ! still has stockbars(stock grips barly wore)/tires/heelguards. that things been barely rode probably once in a while over the years. ID say its worth like 2500 IMO if not more!

One of friends just bought a real clean all stock 03 kfx400 for 1900

So i guess thats a decent price imo but if i sell my bike ill offer him like 1700$

asked him if he would take 1700 and he said yes so now i need bike bike outa the way and i can go pick up a z400

When I first got mine I changed just the airfilter and you could feel the hps jump up just by doing that. the Z has better handling than the raptor /ex and faster than a EX by far ! you,ll love it.

well guy still has it i think and i might b able to get him down to 1500 so thats a plus
