I know a lot of us 250r owners (me lol) are still trying to put our quads back together again one piece at a time, So with that said how about we see some 250r's ripping to give us all a little summer time motivation to bring the old 2-stroke trend back alive and strong.. :devil:

I know one thing, here in PA I keep seeing more and more 250r's at the races.. great sign, now all we need is a company like LMC for trucks to produce old classic quad parts so we can keep them alive and well! As well as nice peace of mind of being able to rip our 250rs without fear of breaking a part you can't find! :macho

man if i won the lottery id be starting a business for old quad parts like LMC, i get so much stuff from them for my vehicles just imagine what a quad one of those would be like, OEM parts back through the 70s for bikes and 80s for quads, that would be great

Yeah buddy, I've been banging my damn head on my computer screen trying to find little odds and end parts that are discontinued by Honda now.. it's a shame, I know there may not of been a demand for the parts when the 450's first came out but they can't leave us hangin! I for one don't care for a 4 stroke, can't really ride them all that well and they are just waaaaay to expensive for me so the 250r was a perfect choice over my old banshee, then I find out parts are here and there and it was like ahhh maaaan lol

MXJunkie, I think you helped me work on that 250r right after I got it. We were parked next to each other @ Breezewood when you had the Banshee. I kept fouling plugs that day. I think it was a Memorial day weekend probably 3yrs ago.

Haha, yep I have that Lectron carb. I never really rode the bike. I've had it for like 5yrs and have maybe ridden it 10 times. I've always gotten pulled in other directions. Never did get it running smooth. I had a banshee @ the same time, then I got a King Quad700, then last year I got a KX450f. All the while the R has been parked in the shed.

....Until now. I should have it back from Tony Kellner in a few weeks with a 310 kit and a tuned carb FINALLY! I'm more into woods, and that motor was really pipey. So hopefully it will be better to ride. Going to ride it here and there but with the price of things, I don't want to beat her up too much. A lot of chrome.

Only 250r there, although there was a Suzuki LT250r there as well. I finished the race and that was my goal for the day. The race was held @ LLRaceway, outside of New Bethlehem, PA. Another one in a week and a half. Pure fun.

Well a friend, brother and I went riding at Arkansas MX track today...very hott!!!! Camera even died but luckily there was a nice guy and his wife there from Minnesota and he took alot of pics of us. As soon as he sends me them I will post them here.

Thats Winterset Iowa. Its a nice MX track.

Below is the only "action" picture I have of my 250R. (Yes, it is a picture of a picture!) This was during the 2008 BITD Blue Water GP unclassified race. Would always race my 450R in BITD, but the last two years (2008, 2009) I raced Blue Water I would bring the 250R along just for the unclassified race. (The unclassified race was basically a way to prerun the course before the real race. My teammate would ride the race 450R during it.) Always had a blast on it and would be the only two stroke quad there!

This year I am hoping to race the entire series in the Ironman expert class. My plan at the beginning of the year was to actually race the 250R at this race, but BITD cancelled it.:(

Thanks guys. It was a huge sweeper turn so ya I was haulin the mail! Yea I get ALOT of thumbs up and people are always droppin their jaws and you can hear them saying holy hell a 250r. I guess thats the whole reason we all love these bikes so much!

Last weekends hare scramble. I'm usually the only R there out of 250 quads but one other did show up. 3-4 suzuki quadracers show up every race though.

Sick Burns! Hows that 363 doing in the Open Class this year?

Its doing really good when i can keep the jetting on.... I have been having trouble staying a head of it... Afternoons are 80-90 degrees with 70-85% humidity, and then evenings drop to 60's... So the damn thing runs like a raped ape when the jetting is on. My holeshots have suffered some, because of bogging off the line due to poor jetting.. But im starting to get the hang of it and makeing changes as needed throughout the day.

Its tuff to make a jetting change and expect it to be perfect for a moto without testing it before hand.. Just going out on the track and crossing my fingers i made a move in the right direction.
