I put it on all my four strokes, it prevents your leg from getting burnt at the least. I did find on my dirtbike, it does run somewhat cooler.

would it be hard trying to put it on a pipe with a bend on it?

Be careful if you ride in wet condition. They will hold moisture, and can wreak havoc on the pipe.

Get it ceramic coated; ceramic coating is the new age and you can even get it in different colors...you could just coat it or you could coat it then wrap it with exhaust wrap. There are also sprays you can use that go on before the wrap. Both the sprays or the coating will preserve the exhaust and keep the heat down. I had wrap on my header then took it off and the header was stained and had premature rust in some spots...so in short...don't use wrap unless you coat it first.

Ceramic is the way to go. It costs a little more than powder coating, but it works. I have my exhaust ceramic coated in flat black, and in blue, and it turned out great
