300ex running funny

i have a bone stock 01 300ex runs fine on flat ground,but when i go up and down hills it dies. i cleaned carb and no change,and i tried putting on reserve any ideas

i turned my idle screw up a little and just keep my thumb in it more

i would guess it's your float. it may need adjusted or it is just saturated and needs replaced
