Took the quad out for a ride yesterday and ran into some problems. i beleive i have it narrowed down the the on way starter bearing. my starter and starter gears are all spinnng when i hit th switch. every once and a while it makes a click like its going to catch but thats it. so i took of the cover. in the fly wheel i found a few decent sized chunks of metal. Im gonna have to get a flywheel puller to do the rest but i beleive the one way gear is shot. im assuming its would work like a syntrigul "or how ever its spelled" clutch assembly and catch when the starter turns it over. am I correct? like i said i havent got to this point for inspection yet. just running ideas through my head on what it could be. what do you think? if so whats the life on them and what causes it to go bad. thank you in advance
