how do reed spacers work?

juts got a reed spacer for the 250r but it doesnt say in what order to install it.

boot--spacer---reeds?
or
boot--reeds--spacer?


dont wanna ruin anything any help or insight is greatly appreciated.

Reed spacer goes between the reed cage and engine intake. Starting from engine intake the order is- gasket-reed spacer-gasket-reed cage. With parts in that order, bolt reed cage to intake as usual.

just as i thought but i was unsure... would this setup add to my problem of powerloss at half throttle?cant seem to figure it out..thanks!
