07 450r fcr carb-->01 440ex

[440ex. ehhh!!]

alright so a guy just offered me a 39mm fcr carb off a 07 450r. he wants $200. i have a 440 big bore kit, and stock cam. what would have to be done to make this work proper?
would i be able to run it just by re-jetting it, and not upgrading to a stg 1,2,or 3 cam?

a stage to hot cam wil hepl it out a lot. is it a flat slid carb?

im not sure. all he said was "39mm keihin FCR carb from an 07 450r" and he wants $200 for it.

bike looks great and everything. but it sure doesn't look like that carb belongs :p
does it bolt right up? or do you have to modify a few parts?

i went right on but had to cut the top of it look at it clost and u will see on ur what to do. but change the piloet jet to a 50 the main jet will be around 155 to 160

An 07 450r carb is a 40mm.

Also, like eric said, a cam would really make the carb work for you, but I say go with a stage 3. It'll scream on top end.
