I bought a 88 warrior to fart around in some local trails. I'm pretty impressed from owning banshees all my life and then deciding to get a warrior. I just feel that the suspension sucks. I seen a video on you tube of a guy that has honda 400ex frons suspension on his warrior and said it seems to just be a bolt on mod....he bought it like that so isn't exactly sure.

Does anyone know or have any input on this on to what exactly is needed to compete this. meaning will the warrior spindles fit the 400 ex a arms or do i need the ex spindles and yada yada. whos got an idea?

I would just get some standered travel+2 a arms and yfz 450 shocks

If i wanted to dump a boat load of cash in it i probably would go that route but i don't have that much care to go that far with it.... i'm looking for a cheap alternative that serves the same purpose ya dig me?

who else has an idea on this...cmon i know somebody has heard, seen or done this before...

ok but the 400ex a arms are not going to fit

the shocks I'm not sure on the angle of the warrior's a arms/shock mount but a 400ex shock would need a spacer on each side of the shock mount if the angle even works

Well from the looks of this video it seems they will fit. then again i think them are 450r shocks.anyways the shock angle looks great also.Much better than the angle of the stock warrior shocks.

If you pay close attention at about 30 seconds into the video you can clearly see.

I was talking about the forward/back angle of the shock. also in the video look at the bottom shock mount it seem to be a custom mount or something. I have a you tube acount so i asked him i will tell you when he answers. and those are 450r shocks. another thing to worry about is that the 450r shocks have more travel than the ball joints so they will bottom out before the shock. but if you use 400 shocks you should be good with travel
