i just saw a commercial for a thing claled thunder nationals at the pyramid here in memphis, ive eben too it along time ago and it was pretty cool, but anyways they r gonna have monster trucks, fresstyle motorcross and something called quad wars. it showed a quick clip of banshees and stuff flyin around a circular track, it didnt look like TT but im not sure wut it is. just lettin yall know incase someone wants to chekc it out. im not sure when it is its probably either this weekend or one of the next couple weekends.

I saw the commercials for that when I went to supercross with a friend. They had monster trucks crashin and quads turning. It was at Edison International Field on the 25th of January if we both are talkin abut the same thing.

I went to a monster truck show once were they had quad wars. There were 4 teams, each from a differnt state. It was just an oval track. I am pretty sure it was set up because the cali team leader bet the MN team learder his quad. Anyways MN won so they brought out his 250r and ran it over with a monter truck. I dont think it was the 250r that he raced with, it look like a beat up, regular R.

I raced there when it was in Texas. Nothing special, just a round flat track. Very gay. You do get $200 for showing up and $500 for placing. 1st Gets a gift certificate for parts (amt $300) 2nd gets 1 for $200 3rd gets $100. I made 1,200 bucks in 4 races. Pretty easy. They haul your **** for $50 so that ain't a problem.

If it is a quad wars it IS FAKE. We have done them for the past 3 years when they come around here. They have a few smaller jumps and a little whoop section. They tell you before you go out to keep the race close and give the audience a good show. You will usually get $50 for two nights and 2 tickets to every show. Its not a real race but its FUN to do,how many times have you got to ride your quad in front of 10,000 people?
