'85Suzuki LT230

Ok guys New to this site but i got a New Four wheeler its an 85 Suzuki 230 Quadrunner and Instead of Being chain and sprocket driven it is actually like a truck. Engine- 5spd. Transmission-DriveShaft-Transfer Case with Hi-Low gear Selector-the a very Large Rear end maybe a Diff. well id love to know whats the Advantages are with a Driveshaft and Does it have U-joints like a truck does? Any Help GREATLY Appreciated
