I just took one of the bearings out of the axle carrier of my supposed "all stock" 250R I bought. The bearing inside is almost twice as big as the one I ordered as a direct replacement. What gives? Did I order the wrong part or do I have an aftermarket carrier? Are there carriers made by a company called Pro Design?? EEEERRRRRRR:mad:

From the looks of the bearing you have a twin rolloer bearing carrier. This good, they are stronger than stock and the bearing are cheaper than stock. Unless the dealer orders them from PU.

Yeah, you have a aftermarket twin row axle carrier. You need to order some twin row bearings instead of single row stockers. Your best bet when ordering parts for your 250r is too take the object apart first and chekc it out before ordering parts since you don't know the machine too well yet.

They are double row bearings. The only marking I can definately make out on them is 5008. Does anyone know what carrier these belong too???

Like I said before they are bouble row bearing and they will fit any carrier that is made for the double bearings. there are 3 types of carriers, stock, double bearings, and tapered bearing. There are at least 10 or more places that are making the double carriers, but the bearing are all the same size.
