Apart from the facelift and fuel injection, are they the same? Suspension wise etc etc... Cause I'm looking to buy a 2009+ but I'd like to get a long travel front end over the run, and if 2002-2008 parts fit it would make things a lot cheaper. :)
they do share a lot of the same parts....but I think they made a small change to the a-arms...but that could have been just a degree adjustment or weight transfer......measure them at the dealer against what you have now...

i do know that they are wider. im not sure what they changed to make them wider. but im pretty sure the shocks and mounts are the same. i have a-arm skid plates off of an 05 model that bolted right up to my 09 model so that tells me that didnt change the a-arm design but dont hold that to me

The a-arms and shocks are NOT the same. The swingarms are interchangeable. This is straight from a fella I know that just got a full Houser suspension setup for a 2009' Z400.
