blaster vs. 300

A friend of mine is gettin a blaster and I have a300ex. Who would win in a one mile drag race between a stock blaster and 300ex??

hmm this is really close one i would say its all going to be who is better driver or the blaster would win by a little bit

I am a previous owner of many blasters and i know for sure the blaster would win..It may not win by much but if its tuned right it will win.

Blasters drink EX exhaust (if yo EX is not a ***** 300)

a blaster 2 stroke compared to a 300ex 4 stroke is like comparing a banshee 350 to a 400ex.....you have to almost double the 4 strokes cc to make the same HP.......the blaster's faster. you also have to consider HP weight ratio's too. a scambler 400 2 stroke has about 10 more HP than a 400ex (36 vrs 26) but it weighs about an extra 100 lbs. the two in a drag race are about even.

i Know for a fact that a 300ex will smoke blaster on top end and bottom end and if you have that 313 power roll kit you will easliy kick dirt in the blaster face

i got a 00 300 ex and my 12yr old daughter has an 88 blaster. my 300 has a fmf power core 4 k&n filter and a jet kit , her blaster was bored .80 over w/ 22 in. tires . i know there is a weight diff. but she repetedly walked away from me. this wasnt from a dead stand still it was from like 2nd gear. needless to say this pissed me off and i havent wanted to risk another bashing from a 12 year old girl , but this was shortly after the rebuild , couldnt stand her looking up at me with that look in her eyes of " yeah old man i wupped your *****. "

actually the blasters are slow , i ride my friends everyone once in awhile its really boring, then he comes back like he saw a ghost or something cuz it has like 200 times the pull

I would say the 300 would win. When my 300ex was stock i beat 2 of my friends blasters. One had an FMF fatty with a FMFpowercore, and was bored, and had a aftermarket sprocket< K&N filter. The other one had a RAD valve "or so he claims" and he has 22 inch turftamers and a uni filter. I killed bothe of them. And the 300ex has such a better and smoother ride than the blasters.

every weekend i ride with this kid who has a blaster and he is a good rider, he races harescrambles, anyway, whenever we race...he always comes up a little short......the 300 will win....

But they were awesome. Way better then stock. I went riding with my stock shocks back on today and its the first time I rode them in like 8 months and the WORKS are so much better. The titanium 4 pipe is AWESOME. I could be wrong but i think its the lightest pipe on the market. It sounds great. I'm getting a powerbomb to connect to it so that's suppose to make it peform much better.
