How Much Could I Get For This? or Trade For 450?

Well i have a 2002 400ex and i absolutely love it the thing is im moving on to a 450 so how much do you think i could get for this? or im willing to trade and give cash for race ready 450?

well i would have to say around 2k. dont get me wrong it looks nice with the new plastic and all but with graphics and some new pc it would be a head turner and prb get around 3k. I had a 400ex before my 450 and it was hard trying to sale the 400 and it was in pretty good shape not to mention all the aftermarkets it had. i ended up tradin it for the bike i have now but it was stock to the bone and front plastic was rough,twisted stem,tires flat, but other than that the 450 was nice and i seen potential so i said yeah ill trade because at that point a 400 wasnt gettin me where i wanted to be and that was in the big boy race with the fast guys.

I had around 2400 in the 400 when i traded it off so thats what i had in a stock yfz450 i considered that good. i paid 900 for the 400 and it was xc bike needed motor work so i spent 500 in the motor and the rest on mx suspension. the cosmetics was free as i have a ton of stickers and just TLC makes one look amazing. the 400 would fly tho it had 426 bore dirtbike carb lightened flywheel hot rods crank hotcam hinson wiseco HC piston TC exhaust tranny work it would pull a bike length on a stock piped 450 in drag races easy

i understand i was just sayin a price range the way it sits and with the extra tlc u might make some extra but after u put money into it only to make a couple hundred. best advice i can give is sale it for what u can and put that towards a 450
